  • Academy Advisory Council - Parent Application

    Academy Advisory Council (AAC) - Parent Application Form

    We have 3 vacancies for parent members for the Danesholme Infant and Danesholme Junior Academy Advisory council.

    Applicants must be the parent or legal guardian of a pupil attending either Academy.

    The Academy Advisory Council is a small group and has staff, parent and local community representation.

  • Class DoJo

    We are introducing a new system called ClassDojo across both the infants and juniors to improve communication between home and school and to make it easier for parents to communicate directly with teachers. 

     

    ClassDojo is a well-known platform that is used by many schools. It is simple to use and has an app that can be downloaded onto a phone or tablet, or it can just be accessed on a computer.

  • School Photographer - 30th September 2021

    The school photographer will be in school from 8.15am on Thursday 30th September 2021.

     

    If you have school age children attending Danesholme Infant & Junior Academies and wish them to be photographed in a family group, please report to reception at 8.15amThis will be the only opportunity for siblings to be photographed together.

     

    PLEASE NOTE: Parents/Guardians must wait outside the hall doors when the children are being photographed at 8:15am. Photographs will be taken standing only.

     

    The photographer will take individual portrait photographs of all children throughout the school day

     

    For years 3, 4, and 5 this will be their only opportunity of a school photograph during this academic year. 

     

    Year 6 will have individual photos taken on this day but will also have their group photos taken later in the year (summer term).
